(May 12, 2021) — Parts of Hickman County will experience a scheduled power outage in the early morning hours of Sunday, May 23 while Meriwether Lewis Electric Cooperative crews conduct maintenance on the distribution system. The interruption will begin around 12:01 a.m. and end around 4 a.m.
Locations involved are Hickman Springs, Camp Meribah, Grays Bend, Green Hill Drive, Highway 100 side of Skyview Drive, and surrounding locations. Some of these may also experience a short blink/intermittent disruption around 6 a.m. on May 24
“This work can help prevent a longer, unexpected, outage down the road for our members,” says MLEC District Manager Matthew Chessor. “Crews will work as quickly and safely as possible to keep the outage as short as we can. MLEC appreciates everyone’s understanding.”
If anyone has questions or concerns, contact Meriwether Lewis at 931.729.3558. In the event of inclement weather, the power outage will be postponed to a later date.
