(August 17, 2022) - Applications are due August 31, 2022, for Meriwether Lewis Electric Cooperative's Adopt-A-School Grant. Teachers can apply for one of three $1,000 grants in their county. Typically, two grants are available, but a contribution from the Tennessee Valley Authority last week made an additional grant available in each MLEC-served area.
The annual MLEC grant helps educators fund classroom needs, or can be used as supplemental funding for innovative projects. Kindergarten through twelfth grade teachers or principals should submit an application to MLEC Member Services by the August 31 deadline. Applications are available at each school, any MLEC office, or online at www.mlec.com/adopt-school-grant.
